Enfants en Équi-Libre is made up of a team of therapists, instructors, education & equine professionals, and volunteers dedicated to helping youth reach their full potential through therapy, recreation and specialized groups

Enfants en Équi-Libre offers equine assisted therapy, recreation, sport, and learning programs primarily to youth between the ages of 2-25 in our community with the purpose of contributing positively to their cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being.

Located in St-Lazare, our goal is to help children maximize their growth and reach their potential in all spheres of development. We are dedicated to offering services that are specific to the needs of each child, in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

Enfants en Équi-Libre was founded in 2016 when Joannie and Devon decided to partner together and open a centre offering equine assisted occupational therapy services and therapeutic riding programs in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area.

Having previously met in 2014 while working and volunteering at a therapeutic riding centre near Ormstown Québec, they realized that they not only had a similar vision for their own organization, but they had a complimentary skill set that would undoubtedly help them achieve their goals.

Now, after working alongside one another for some time, Enfants en Équi-Libre has grown as much as their friendship, and their team has grown substantially with members on two and four legs!

We were visited by the lovely Catherine Verdon-Diamond to talk about the programs we offer at our equestrian centre, specifically equine assisted occupational therapy (hippotherapy). A big thanks to the kids from the Mackay Centre who allowed us to film during their riding session!
